Jonathan Mathews and Josh Daniel work together as missionaries in Cidade Tiradentes, a district in east zone of Sao Paulo, Brail.
A few years ago, through a unique opportunity, one of our supporting churches purchased a sizeable property in Cidade Tiradentes for our long-term ministry use. Since the property aqcuisition we have mainly focused on other projects, one within the same district and two in Bahia (Northern Brazil).
We are now turning our focus to fully developing the property for ministry use. At present, the property is unusable. We have done some excavation and drainage work to prepare the property for the first phase of development, but there is still work to be done. Once we are done with the excavation, and drainage we will begin rebuilding some of the perimeter walls before launching the first phase of developing the property for use.
The first phase of development will consist of building two basketball/soccer courts, and a small pavilian area attached to a structure housing locker rooms, bathrooms, a kitchen, and a storage room.
What will this property be used for when it is fully developed? We hope to create a mini-campus that houses a Church, a Christian Pre-School, a Leadership Development Institute, and a Youth Outreach Center.
This blog has been created to chronicle this property development from start to finish and to recruit financial partners who are not part of our existing support base. Many have asked about partnership opportunities and this blog serves as a conduit of information to that end. You can donate through paypal on this blog, through paypal on our personal websites, or through our non-profit mission organizations (visit personal website for more information).
Our projects are fully funded by contributions. If every one gives a little, fewer will sacrifice more.
